Privacy Policy

Effective October 5, 2026 · Version 1

Summary: We collect only what we need to run The Sharp Tracker: your email, your login, what you choose to enter (like bets you log and your bankroll), plan status from our payment platform, and basic technical data for security. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for targeted advertising, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, and you can ask us to access or delete it at any time.

1. Who we are and scope

This Privacy Policy explains how The Sharp Tracker ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information in connection with thesharptracker.com, our web application, alerts, emails, our Discord server and related services (the "Service"). It is part of our Terms of Service; capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given there. It does not cover third-party services you use, such as sportsbooks, prediction markets, Whop or Discord, which have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

2.2 Information from our payment platform

If you buy a Plan, our payment platform, Whop, provides us with your name, email address, Whop username, the Plan you purchased, and its status (for example active, trialing, cancelled, refunded or disputed). We never receive or store your full payment card number or card security code; Whop processes payment information under its own privacy policy.

2.3 Information collected automatically

2.4 Information we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect government ID numbers, precise location (GPS), biometric data, or login credentials for your sportsbook or other Platform accounts, and we do not ask you to connect those accounts.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use only strictly necessary cookies: one that keeps you signed in, one that remembers a device you've chosen to trust for two-step login, and a short-lived one used during login. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics. Your browser may also store preferences (such as sound on or off) locally on your device; that data stays on your device. Because we don't track you across sites, honoring "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals requires no change to how we already operate.

4. How we use information

We do not use your personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as follows:

We may also disclose information: (a) when required by law, subpoena, court order or other legal process, or in response to a valid request from law enforcement or a regulator; (b) to protect the rights, property, safety or security of us, our users, Platforms or others, including to investigate fraud, match-fixing, insider betting or redistribution of Alerts; (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy or sale of all or part of our business, in which case the information remains subject to this policy's protections; and (d) with your consent or at your direction. Other members never see your email, bets or bankroll. We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.

6. No sale or targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising, as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.

We may keep information longer where required by law or to resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our Terms.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, required two-step login, restricted and logged server access, automated blocking of repeated failed logins, least-privilege system configuration and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password and authenticator device secure, and should tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed your account. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any authorities as required by applicable law.

9. Your choices and rights

To make a request, email support@thesharptracker.com from the email address on your account (or include your username). We'll verify your identity before acting, may ask for additional information to do so, and will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally within 45 days). You may use an authorized agent where the law allows, and we may require proof of their authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to: know or access the personal information we have collected about you and how we use and disclose it; correct inaccuracies; delete it; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling (we don't do these). You may also have the right to appeal our decision on your request by replying to our response with "Appeal" in the subject line; if your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.

California notice at collection: In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 (identifiers such as name, email, username and IP address; commercial information such as Plan status; internet or network activity; and inferences limited to Service features such as suggested bet sizes), from the sources described there, for the purposes in Section 4, and disclosed them for business purposes to the categories of recipients in Section 5. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we keep information for the periods in Section 7. California residents may also request information about disclosures for direct marketing under California's "Shine the Light" law; we do not make such disclosures.

11. Age restriction

The Service is intended only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International users

The Service is intended for users in the United States. Your information is stored and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

13. Third-party services

The Service links to and works alongside third-party services, including sportsbooks, prediction markets, Whop and Discord. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Information you give directly to them is governed by their policies, not this one.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date and version and, if the changes are material, notify you through the Service or by email before they take effect where required by law.
